Eleven largely unreadable and seven marginally readable bands removed from caracaras 19–38 mo after being affixed, together with a dirty unreadable worn band on a caracara. (Bands in the figure were flattened by hand and, if necessary with a few taps of a rubber mallet so as to avoid further damage to their surfaces.)
