(A) Removal of the dead nestling from nest built on top of a Monk Parakeet (Myiopsitta monachus) nest in the top of a carob tree (Prosopis flexuosa); (B) Tagging and equipping the rescued nestling with VHF transmitter before placing it in the foster nest; (C) first interaction between Chaco Eagle parents and the fostered nestling, with the female feeding the nestling while the male observes; and (D) female bringing a dwarf armadillo (Zaedyus pichiy) to the nest to feed to the fostered nestling.
